About Me: Redefining Freedom for Every Dog

My journey: Why I Refused to “Just Use a Lead”

My life has always revolved around a love for animals, but my true professional path was ignited in 2019 when I brought home my first Beagle. Like any owner, I dreamed of a life filled with adventure and exploration.

However, everything changed when my second Beagle arrived. As they grew, so did their powerful natural instincts to chase. I sought help from several experienced trainers, but the advice was always the same: ‘Because of their high prey drive, they’ll have to stay on a lead forever.’

To me, that wasn’t an answer, it was a challenge. I believe every dog deserves the freedom to run, track, and follow their nose while remaining safe and responsive. I refused to settle for a lifetime of ‘short leash’ walks. My mission became finding the tools and techniques to make off-leash freedom a reality, not just for my own dogs, but for yours too.

Professional Mentorship & Hands-On Experience

I am deeply passionate about the science of canine behaviour, but I realized early on that real training can’t be mastered through a screen. While I have completed various online courses and continue to attend specialised workshops ever since, I value real-world experience above all else.In October 2023, I formally began my career as a trainer, and by November, I secured a prestigious 10-month mentorship under a veteran trainer with over 30 years of expertise. Assisting in everything from puppy classes to complex one-on-one behavioural consultations, this intensive hands-on period deepened my understanding of how varied every dog truly is. I firmly believe in a “one size does not fit all” approach and constantly evolve my techniques to ensure I have a wide range of tools to help every individual dog and human team thrive.

Building Trusting Bonds in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole

Many owners feel stuck when facing challenges like excessive barking, anxiety, or high prey drive. These issues often stem from unmet needs or underlying instincts that, without the right tools, can lead to deep frustration. I am here to tell you that you are not alone, and most of these challenges can be overcome with patience and the right guidance

My goal is to make professional, non-judgmental dog training affordable and accessible to everyone in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole areas. Whether we are building a “rockstar” recall for a high-drive dog or working through separation anxiety, my approach is rooted in:

Trust and Respect: Replacing fear with clear communication.

Empowerment: Giving you the knowledge to support your dog for a lifetime.

Freedom: Training for the real world so your dog can be a dog.
